Celebrate National Public Lands day in style! Campout For Public Lands is a celebration of the land that we love, the winding down of camping season, and a chance to give back and have fun in the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Located on the south shore of Paulina Lake, Newberry Group Camp is an ideal location to host our 21+ glamping experience. Whether you're new to camping or have been pitching your tent for decades, we would love for you to join our annual celebration and fundraiser.
The ticket price includes food for the duration of the event, beverages, entertainment, a swag bag, access to demos, and more! All of the funds that are generated from this event go to Discover Your Forest, the nonprofit partner of the Forest Service who brings volunteerism and conservation education to the lands and communities of Central Oregon.
This year, we have held some tickets aside for need-based scholarships. If you would like to join us and would need support making that possible, please reach out to amy.jensen@discovernw.org. Let us know a bit about your situation, whether or not you would like to borrow camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, chair and/or lights), and other concerns you’d like to connect about. In the last, beneficiaries of scholarship tickets are members of one or more historically excluded communities, i.e. LGBTQ+, BIPOC, first-time campers, and/or financial insecurity.
*Please note that the venue location is at Newberry Group Camp - Paulina Lake Rd. La Pine, OR 97739.*
